Spotlight on the Mega:

Formula’s new DH brakes have been making quite a splash this year! While the ONE has set a new bar for DH performance and weight, the MEGA has bridged the gap between power and price. All the stopping power of the ONE at a lower and more competitive price point. The only sacrifice? A bit of weight and a hair less fade resistance!

The Master Cylinder of the Mega and the ONE are nearly identical. There are 2 small differences: the ONE is outfitted with an external reach adjuster whereas the MEGA requires a 3mm hex for reach adjustments. No big deal, since this is generally a one time adjustment. Also, the Mega comes with a lever blade which utilizes a taller profile.

The caliper on the Mega uses the same diameter caliper pistons as on the ONE: HUGE 24MM! This is the heart of the breaking power! Offset caliper half bolts reduce weight and provide a cleaner look. As always, the caliper is outfitted with a banjo style connection which allows the hose to be rotated and routed in the most direct way for your specific frame.
